The recipients are Danya Bailey, director of advising; Nicholas Kocurek, associate professor of English; Steve Lemmons, Media Center director/photographer; Dr. Sudeep Majumdar, professor of Biology; Brian Williams, veterans affairs technician in Advising and Counseling; Terri Worley, office manager for the Division of Student and Enrollment Services; and Angelita Ybarra, coordinator of multi-campus testing.

The recipients will be honored at NISOD’s 2019 International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence, which will be held May 25-28 in Austin.

The NISOD Excellence Awards were established in 1991 to provide NISOD-member colleges with an opportunity to recognize individuals doing extraordinary work on their campuses. Using their own criteria, NISOD member colleges submit names of faculty and staff members who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment and contribution to their students and colleagues.
