Dear Temple College Community:

Due to inclement weather coming into the region, and out of concern for everyone’s safety, Temple College will close all campuses on Thursday, Feb. 3, and Friday, Feb. 4, and will move to remote services and online learning for these two days.

Temple College will maintain regular business hours today, Wednesday, Feb. 2, for in-person services; Thursday and Friday, campuses will maintain regular business hours via remote services. All online classes will continue as scheduled during this time. Face-to-face classes will move to online learning. Students, please visit your D2L class shell for further instruction. There will be no on-campus activities on Thursday or Friday of this week. However, if you need support, please contact Temple College offices through email, online chat, phone, or through D2L. Weekend activities and services will be held as scheduled.

If you have not done so yet, please take a moment to sign up for Leopard Alerts at https://www.templejc.edu/resources/leopard-alert/. Temple College uses the Leopard Alert emergency notification service to quickly communicate health and safety emergency information to our campus community. With inclement weather on the horizon, now is the perfect time to make sure you are subscribed to receive alerts. We will send a Leopard Alert message today. If you receive a text from Leopard Alert, you are subscribed. If you do not receive that message, it may be due to us having an old phone number on file or that you have not yet signed up for the program.

We will work to notify local media outlets as well. This will follow our postings to the channels above.

If you have not done so, we ask that you consider opting in to our Leopard Alert notification system.

What is Leopard Alert?

Leopard Alert is an emergency notification service that gives Temple College the ability to communicate health and safety emergency information quickly by e-mail and/or text message. By enrolling in Leopard Alert, Temple College can quickly pass on safety-related information, regardless of your location.
