Surgical technologists are in high demand nationwide. To address the demand, Temple College is offering a 12-month program to equip and prepare workers to assist in medical procedures and direct patient care.

On Monday, Feb. 7, Temple College is hosting an information session beginning at 3 p.m. in Room 1814 of the College’s Health Sciences Center.

The Surgical Technology program provides the technical and educational experiences that prepare graduates for entry level positions as surgical technologists and to sit for the national certification examination sponsored by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

Courses provide classroom, lab and clinical rotations to prepare graduates for entry level positions as surgical technologists. Pre-requisites are not included in the 12-month program.

Visit the Surgical Technology website or call (254) 298-8651 for more information.
