Temple College is the place to be this Saturday for community and family holiday fun!

The Temple College SkillsUSA STEM Club and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society are teaming up to bring “Holiday Town” to the Temple Campus. This event, which will feature a large variety of children’s activities as well as shopping and food truck opportunities, will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Temple College Pavilion on the east side of campus near the athletics fields.

 

Holiday Town will feature 10 kids’ activities, including:

  • Santa’s Workshop (toymaking)
  • Greeting Circle (stamping and holiday card making)
  • Frosty Road (snowman building)
  • Home Alone Lane (making green slime)
  • Storybook Lane (story time)
  • Ornament Crossing (ornament making)
  • Sweet Sprinkle Road (cookie decorating)
  • STEM Street (science activities)
  • Memory Lane (photo booth)
  • Polar Express Lane (movies and hot chocolate)

Each activity requires one ticket per child. Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased online or at the door.

Adults can sample seasonal treats and beverages, purchase food from food trucks, enjoy the Holiday Craft Fair featuring 20 vendors, and participate in the popular Silent Christmas Tree Auction.

The event will also serve as a toy drive for the Ronald McDonald House.
